Grand Canyon, Ariz. –Grand Canyon Village is no longer in level 1 water conservation mode and water operations have returned to normal. The National Park Service encourages all visitors to practice basic water conservation measures at home and during their travels. Basic water conservation includes taking shorter showers, turning off the faucet while brushing teeth or shaving, and washing full loads of laundry or dishes. Park stores sell reusable water bottles and visitors are encouraged to bring their own bottles to use at the free water bottle filling stations. Drinking water is available at all inner canyon water stations on the Bright Angel and North Kaibab trails and at Phantom Ranch.
