Lands End Project Update Saturday & Sunday, October 14 & 15 Temporary Trail Closure: The Coastal Trail will be closed from the Merrie Way Parking Lot to Eagle’s PointTrail & Habitat Restoration Projects With the help of volunteers, coordinated by Volunteers for Outdoor California and the Golden Gate National Parks' Trails Forever Team, we will be working on vital trail rehabilitation and reconstruction projects, as well as habitat restoration projects, along the Coastal Trail. Due to the extensive nature of the projects and to ensure your safety, trail access in the Lands End area will be restricted with a temporarily closure from the Merrie Way Parking Lot to Eagle’s Point on October 14th & 15th. Please use El Camino Del Mar as an alternate route. We apologize for the inconvenience. Following this weekend's projects, we can all look forward to enjoying a much safer and more accessible trail with improved wildlife habitat along its corridor.
