As part of its efforts to get the word out on the consequences of climate change and to encourage visitors to do their part to counter this threat, Golden Gate has installed some outdoor exhibits. These exhibits illustrate how future sea level rise will affect aspects of Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the San Francisco area as a whole.

Exhibits located on the Golden Gate Promenade at Crissy Field and at Rodeo Beach in Marin Headlands include poles wih markers depicting projected future sea levels at the bridges crossing the lagoon entrances.
