SAVANNAH, GA – Fort Pulaski National Monument will temporarily close on Monday, August 3, 2020 due to the forecast of severe weather associated with Tropical Storm Isaias. The park will remain closed until after the storm has passed and re-open once damage assessments have been made and the park is deemed safe for visitation.

When the park does reopen, National Park Service Covid Adaptive Recovery operations will resume. The park’s trails will be available to visitors while the historic fort, visitor center, and north shoreline will remain closed.
