BALTIMORE, MD – The National Park Service announces a temporary park closure, in order to ensure health and safety of visitors during the post event break down and removal of all items related to the First Amendment permitted event.
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine will be closed all day on Thursday, August 27th and on Friday, August 28th until 12:00pm.
Closed areas include: The entirety of the park located at 2400 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230, (in total forty-two acres) stretching from the Patapsco River on the east to Nicholson Street on the west and stretching from the Baltimore Harbor on the north to the Patapsco River on the south. This closure will help ensure public safety, and the safety of park resources, during the post event removal activities.
