Larned, KS – The holiday season is upon us once again and that means one thing at Fort Larned: the Christmas Open House event is just around the corner! Save the date for Saturday, December 13th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM for a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. While details are still being worked on, there will be some classic elements of the event as well as plenty of new attractions for those who have attended the event before. Follow along on Fort Larned’s social media and website as this event develops and enjoy some fun and historic ways to celebrate the season!

And as holiday shopping starts up, don’t forget about Fort Larned National Historic Site’s bookstore and gift shop managed by Western National Parks (WNP). From quality historic books to Fort Larned memorabilia to more generic gifts inspired by Fort Larned’s story, the WNP store has it all. Be sure to stop in while attending the Christmas Open House or any day from 8:30AM-4:30PM.

Fort Larned National Historic Site is open daily from 8:30AM-4:30PM and is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
