Volunteering at Fort Larned

Volunteers in period clothes talking to visitors.

Many of the volunteers at Fort Larned take part in our living history programs, however there are many other volunteer jobs such as Visitor Services and behind-the-scenes work in administration and maintenance.

The living history program at Fort Larned has been in place for decades. Without the many volunteers who come out to help with our annual living history events throughout the year we would not be able to bring this amazing place to life.
