 Special Activities Planned at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument in November

Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument announces a host of activities for the month of November:

Friday, November 4, Night Sky Program, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Join park staff and members of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society to gaze at the dark skies above Florissant Fossil Beds in search of planets, galaxies, nebulas, and more. Meet at the Visitor Center.  

Friday, November 11. Veterans Day, Fee FREE
This Veterans Day honor those that have served and sacrificed for our country with a visit to a national park. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument invites the community to remember our veterans by visiting the Monument for free on Veterans Day. Active duty military are also invited to visit and receive a FREE Interagency Annual Pass valid for all national park areas in the United States for one year.

There are no additional fees for any park programs beyond the daily entrance fee.
