The Guy Bradley Visitor Center is a newly remodeled, state of the art facility in the Flamingo area of Everglades National Park. We offer a variety of venue options to best serve your needs, all immersed in the unique nature of the Florida Everglades. Whether you’re looking for a spectacular place for a wedding or a meeting room for a small group, we can happily accommodate you. With a brand new restaurant and lodge within walking distance of the Visitor Center, Flamingo is the perfect location for any event, big or small.
 

General Information

Flamingo is located on the edge of Florida Bay at the end of the main park road, 38 miles into Everglades National Park.

Distance from Miami: About 90 miles (at least 2 hours of driving time)

Distance from Ft. Lauderdale: About 110 miles (at least 2 hours and 15 minutes of driving time)

Distance from Homestead: About 50 miles (at least 1 hour of driving time)

All venue reservations require a permit from the National Park Service. Please carefully review the venue options below, then submit your Special Use Permit application and Flamingo Event Questionnaire.

Catering and lodging can be arranged through Flamingo Adventures.

All costs associated with our venue are subject to rate changes and additional administrative fees. Pricing below does not include park entrance fees or special use permit fees.

Multipurpose Room

Our multipurpose room is a private space perfect for large meetings or a classroom-type setting. The room can be rearranged and setup as needed to accommodate you.

What’s included: Two large monitors, projector and screen, warming kitchen, conference room for maximum 14, tables, chairs, adjacent restrooms, natural lighting, WiFi, ample parking

Capacity: Maximum capacity for this room is 55 people, seated or standing

Availability: 8 am to 11 pm

Cost: Pricing varies based on your event, starting at $150 for 3 hours ($25/hour for each hour beyond that)

Accessibility: The venue is accessible via an elevator or a steep ramp. There is ample accessible parking available nearby.

Conference Room

This intimate space is perfect for a small group looking to meet or share a meal in a quiet, private setting.

What’s included: A large table and chairs, WiFi, plentiful power outlets, ample lighting, ample parking

Capacity: The room can comfortably fit up to 13 people

Availability: 8 am to 11 pm

Cost: Pricing varies based on your event, starting at $25 for two hours

Accessibility: The venue is accessible via an elevator or a steep ramp. There is ample accessible parking available nearby.

Buttonwood Reception Hall

Located downstairs in the same location as the historic Buttonwood Cafe is our lobby and welcoming area. The Florida Bayside Garden is just steps away and the Great Hall is directly upstairs.

What’s included: Landscaped waterfront patio, potential for wildlife viewing, adjacent restrooms, an indoor air-conditioned welcoming space, ample parking

Capacity: This space can accommodate no more than 28 people

Availability: The reception hall is only available from 6 pm to 11 pm. Setup can begin as early as 5 pm.

Cost: Pricing varies per event, starting at $100 for 2 hours

Accessibility: This venue is accessible with paved pathways and ample accessible parking close by.

Florida Bayside Garden

If you’re looking to fully immerse yourself and your guests in the Everglades environment, this outdoor venue is perfect for you. With spectacular views of Florida Bay on this breezy overlook, it’s the ideal partially shaded outdoor space for a large group. It’s also available to book with our air-conditioned Buttonwood Reception space, perfect for greeting people as they arrive.

What’s included: Landscaped waterfront patio, potential for wildlife viewing, adjacent restrooms, an indoor air-conditioned welcoming space, ample parking

Capacity: While this outdoor space can hold a large number, we only provide tables and chairs for 96 (banquet tables) or 170 (standing bar tables).

Availability: Outdoor space available 8 am to 11 pm; indoor space available 6 pm to 11 pm

Cost: Pricing varies per event, beginning at $200 for 3 hours

Accessibility: This venue is accessible with paved pathways and ample accessible parking close by.

Flamingo Amphitheater

Just one mile from the Visitor Center in the Flamingo Campground is a beautiful outdoor amphitheater. The paved Guy Bradley Trail connects the Visitor Center, Restaurant, Lodge, Campground, and Amphitheater together seamlessly as you stroll along the mangrove coastline.

What’s included: Built-in seating, majestic views of Florida Bay, ample parking

Capacity: 120

Availability: 8 am to 11 pm

Cost: Free (in addition to special use permit fee, park entrance fee, and any administrative fees)

Accessibility: This setting is accessible by a paved walkway. There is accessible parking close by.

Guy Bradley Ballroom

Available beginning February 1, 2024.

Our Great Hall is the premier space for panoramic views of Florida Bay in a private, spacious, quiet, and air-conditioned setting with ample lighting. There are plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing, including manatees, dolphins, sharks, crocodiles, birds, tarpon, and more.

What’s included: A large space upstairs with an open floor plan, downstairs lobby, restrooms upstairs and downstairs, magnificent views of Florida Bay, ample parking, potential for wildlife viewing, tables, chairs, WiFi, a warming kitchen, a bar for food/drink service, and multiple monitors with internet, USB, HDMI, and AppleTV device capabilities

Capacity: The space can comfortably seat 96 people at banquet tables or 170 standing at bar tables. Maximum capacity is 230.

Availability: This venue is available outside of visitor center hours from 6 to 11 pm. Setup can begin as early as 5 pm.

Cost: Pricing varies based on your event, starting at $200 for 5 hours

Accessibility: The venue is accessible via an elevator or a steep ramp. There is plenty of accessible parking available nearby.

 

Accommodations

Flamingo Lodge: Enjoy your stay in brand new luxury lodging in eco-conscious shipping containers. Available rooms include studios, 1-bedroom suites, and 2-bedroom suites fully equipped with kitchenettes and private balconies overlooking Florida Bay. Accessible rooms are available and accessed via ramp or elevator.

Flamingo Campground: If you prefer a more rustic experience, enjoy the Flamingo Campground, a classic Everglades National Park experience. You’ll be fully immersed in nature whether you’re staying in a tent or an RV. The campground also features bathhouses, a dump station, potable water stations, picnic tables, grills, and non-electric or electric campsites.

Eco-Tents: For those seeking an adventurous stay somewhere between rustic and luxury, look no further than our Eco-Tents. This safari-style glamping experience includes an enclosed tent on an elevated platform accessible via boardwalk. Amenities include a private bathhouse for eco-tent guests, electricity, lighting, fan, and views of Florida Bay.

Houseboats: For a unique, immersive Everglades experience, consider renting one of our houseboats. Reservations include options for docked and off-dock opportunities. While the cozy 42-foot boats can hold a maximum of 6, it is most comfortable for 4 adults. Each boat features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living area, galley, air-conditioner, screened windows, a water tank, and a grill.

Flamingo Area Attractions

While you’re in the Flamingo area, there are plenty of incredible things to do. The Flamingo Marina offers souvenirs, snacks, boat tours, and rentals for motorboats, kayaks, canoes, and bicycles. There are paddling, biking, and hiking trails throughout the Flamingo area for you to enjoy. Additional Information

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel your event at least 24 hours prior to the event start time to receive a refund. Day-of cancellations will be issued 50% refunds.

Refunds: Full refunds will be issued in the case of inclement weather or other uncontrollable circumstances. Refunds only apply to room rental and administrative fees; special use permit fees are non-refundable.

Pricing: Prices listed above reflect room rates only. Special use permits are an additional $100. Other administrative fees may be added depending on your event. Standard park entrance fees still apply.

Parking: The Guy Bradley Visitor Center features parking for approximately 250 vehicles as well as an additional 60 parking spaces for trailers or larger vehicles. This parking lot also serves the Flamingo Lodge and Restaurant.
