Everglades National Park Announces Ranger guided winter program schedule

Everglades National Park is preparing for the park’s busy visitor season with a new slate of ranger guided programs. As weather cools and migratory birds are transiting south it is a wonderful time to experience the third largest national park in the United States – right in your back yard! Ranger guided programs provide an in depth perspective to the unique natural resources of the park that young and old all enjoy.

There are a wide variety of programs that provide memorable opportunities to experience the unique natural and cultural resources of Everglades National Park. Regular programs include ranger guided walking, biking, and canoe tours throughout the park. Start Planning your visit today and check out the programs in your area on the park website at http: www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/index.htm. In addition to ranger programs, there are boat tours available at Flamingo and the Gulf Coast area of the park and Tram tours at Shark Valley.
