Homestead, Florida: The photography of "Three Amigos" will be exhibited in the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center Gallery at Everglades National Park during the month of November. Come browse the exhibit and meet the artists and park staff Saturday November 8 at a 1pm reception hosted by the Three Amigos at the Gallery, there is no cost to visit the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center Gallery. The love of photography brought us together, the "Three Amigos" are Juan Pena, Daisy Tudela-Wilcox and Antonieta-Borge. They met at "Shoot Miami" a photography enthusiast group and all share the same love of photography and the Everglades. The Three Amigos regularly meet in the Everglades for photography excursions and enjoy the peace the park environment brings them, along with the captivating plant and wildlife. "We try to bring the beauty of the Everglades to south Floridians who may not have visited the park". Juan grew up in south Florida and the Everglades have always been an important part of his life. He fell in love with the Everglades on his first visit with his 3rd grade class to Shark Valley on a school field trip. Daisy's and Juan, though not native Floridians, have grown to love this place as well. Daisy says "Every time I visit the park there is always excellent opportunities for me to capture the wonders that lie within the Everglades". Antonieta quips, "I just can't get enough of this place! I focus on wild life and nature photography as I wander the park and experience the sounds of nature at sunrise and the silence of the night."
