Park shuttles allow visitors to access the most popular sites without the stress of full parking areas and traffic.

Shuttle Information

On weekends and holidays, popular trails in the park are overwhelmed with visitors. These high visitation days lead to extremely limited parking. To ensure all of our visitors have a chance to experience these popular sites, we have shuttles running from auxiliary parking areas to the trailheads and river accesses.


Ranger Tip: To avoid the crowds, try visiting the park on weekdays! Parking lots, trails, roads, and viewing platforms are significantly less crowded on mid-week days and during non-holiday weeks.


The shuttle buses is provided through a partnership between the National Park Service and the Monroe County Transportation Authority.
