Educators can use these events and prompts in their classrooms to encourage creative inspiration based on national and local parks and public lands across the world.

This project would have dammed the Delaware River from near Delaware Water Gap to Milford, PA. Think about what issues matter to you. Who, or what might you want to stand up for? Create a protest poster about an issue that you care about related to protecting public spaces.

Use the writing prompt to participate: Draw a picture of a wild bird that has nested in a city building. Write a journal entry of a day in the life of that bird.
