<two image series> Compatible Treatment of Mechanical Systems. In most instances it is preferable to locate HVAC systems behind corridor walls in secondary spaces, whenever possible. HVAC systems may be hidden in soffits (shown) or in a dropped ceiling in a limited area above a kitchen or bathroom and away from windows (shown) to maintain the character of the more public corridor area.
