Contact: Rhonda Morris, 208-527-1360 Since 1959 the Craters of the Moon Natural History Association (NHA) has been an important park partner. Through the sale of educational materials in the visitor center, this non-profit organization raises funds to support the educational and research programs of the National Park Service at Craters of the Moon National Monument and at Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument and Minidoka National Historic Site. Recent examples of this support include publishing the summer newspaper for Craters of the Moon and supporting a study of pronghorn migration routes north of the park. Just recently the NHA launched a new website with information about the association and an on-line bookstore. Through this website you can also support the National Parks of Southern Idaho by joining the NHA on-line. Several exciting new interpretive products are now featured on the website including a newly revised comprehensive guide to Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve and a biography of “Idaho’s Two-Gun Bob Limbert.” To see these new books and other products please visit the NHA’s website at: http://www.cratersofthemoonnha.org/ |
