Join Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site for a two day Veteran's Day Commemoration Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th. Friday, November 10th from 6:00P-7:00P, we will host a Panel Discussion: The Military Involvement in the Integration of Little Rock Centrla High School. Shawn Fisher, Assistant Professor of History from Harding Unversiry will moderate the panel. The two guest speakers will be Anthony Mansoor, member of the 101st Airborne Division from 1957, and Wayne Knight, member of the Arkansas National Guard from 1957. Saturday, November 11th from 5:00P-8:00P, will feature a screening of "Proud" 2004 (dir. Mary Pat Kelly) followed by a 'talk back'. Panelists will feature Elizabeth Eckford, member of the Little Rock Nine; Anthony Mansoor, member of the 101st Airbrone Division; Shawn Fisher, Assistant Professor of History, Harding Unviersity; Raymond D. Screws, Director of the Arkansas National Guard Museum, Camp Robinson.
