Junior Ranger

The junior ranger badge features the words "Junior Park Ranger," "Central High School," and "National Historic Site" with an engraved image of the school's facade in a center round frame.
The Junior Ranger program is a great way to learn more about Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. Anyone can become a Junior Ranger by completing activities either during a visit to the park or by mail.

Get a free Junior Ranger Activity Booklet from park staff at the Visitor Center information desk - you can even borrow a pencil if needed. Complete any three activities of your choosing and return the booklet to park staff inside the Visitor Center. We will be thrilled to award you a Junior Ranger Badge for your hard work!

If you can't visit the NHS in person, we can mail/email you copy of the Junior Ranger Activity Booklet or you can download your copy so you can complete any three activities. Once you have finished, just mail or email back to park staff here in Little Rock. We will review, return your booklet, and send you a Junior Ranger badge!
