Camping Fees

  • Standard non-utility sites (hold up to 8 people) $20/night
  • Utility sites (hold up to 8 people) $30/night
  • Small group site (no utilities, holds up to 10 people) $30/night
  • Large group sites (no utilities, hold up to 30 people) $50/night

Sites at Chickasaw National Recreation Area under reservation system:

  • Group sites at Rock Creek, Central, and Cold Springs Campgrounds. No utilities hookups are available.
  • All other campsites at Cold Springs Campground. No utilities hookups are available.
  • Buckhorn Campground, Loop C. Utility sites all have 30 amp electric hookups and water hookups. Many also have 50 amp hookups. Non-utility sites are also available.
  • The Point, Upper Loop. Utility sites all have both 30 and 50 amp hookups and water hookups. Non-utility sites are also available.

    Reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 (TDD 1-877-833-6777).

Sites available at Chickasaw National Recreation Area on a first-come, first-served system:

  • All sites at Rock Creek Campground except the group site. No utilities are available.
  • Buckhorn Campground, Loops A, B, and D. Non-utility sites only on loops A and B. Loop D has a mix of utility and non-utility sites. Utility sites all have 30 amp hookups and water hookups.
  • The Point, Lower Loop. Utility sites all have 30 and 50 amp hookups and water hookups. Non-utility sites are also available.
  • Guy Sandy Campground. No utilities are available.

Self-pay stations for first-come-first-serve campsites are located at the entrance to the campgrounds. All campgrounds with first-come, first-served sites have self-pay machines except Guy Sandy. These machines will accept credit or debit cards only. Guy Sandy has a cash only, drop envelope station.

Buckhorn Campground

The Buckhorn Campground is located on the eastern side of Lake of the Arbuckles. It has four loops:

Loop A is open seasonally. It has 21 campsites including 1 accessible site; all of these sites are first come, first served. Showers are available in the restrooms.

Loop B is open seasonally. It has 26 campsites including 1 accessible site; all sites in this loop are first come, first served. Showers are available in the restrooms.

Loop C is open year-round. It has 43 campsites including two acessible sites. All sites are available by reservation only. Showers are available in the restrooms. There are 17 electrical sites (30 amp). Sites with electrical hookups also have water hookups. There are no sewer hook ups in the campground. A dump station can be found on Buckhorn Road outside of the campground.

Loop D is open year-round. It has 51 campsites including 3 accessible sites. All sites are first come, first served. Showers are available in the restrooms. There are 24 electrical sites (30 amp). Sites with electrical hookup also have water hookups. There are no sewer hook ups in the campground. A dump station can be found on Buckhorn Road outside of the campground.

The Point Campground

The Point Campground is located on the northern side of Lake of the Arbuckles. It is open year-round and has two loops.

The lower loop includes 9 electrical and 28 tent sites. Three sites in the lower loop are accessible (no hookups). Campsites in the lower loop are first come, first served. Showers are available in the restrooms.

All sites on the upper loop are available by reservation only. There are 12 electrical sites (50 and 30 amp) and 9 non-electrical camping sites, including 2 accessible sites (with hookups). Electrical sites also have water hookups. There are no sewer hookups available in the campground. A dump station can be found on the road down to the campground. Showers are available in the restrooms.

Rock Creek Campground

The Rock Creek Campground is open year-round. It has 99 campsites and 1 large group site. The group site is available by reservation only; all other sites are first come, first served. All sites are non-electrical. Some sites can accommodate small RVs (25' or less). A dump station is located outside of the campground, near Bromide Pavilion.

Cold Springs Campground

Cold Springs Campground is open seasonally. It has 63 campsites and 2 large group sites. Sites are available by reservation only. All sites are non-electrical and are best for tent camping, though small RVs and pop-up campers (less than 20') may fit.

Central Campground

Central Campground is open seasonally. There are nine large group sites and one small group site that are available by reservation only. Non-group sites are available at nearby Cold Springs Campground.

Guy Sandy Campground

Guy Sandy Campground is open seasonally. It is located on the west shore of Lake of the Arbuckles and contains 40 campsites. Facilities include water faucets and pit toilets. All sites are first come, first served. Guy Sandy is cash only. Please pay at the iron ranger at the campground entrance.
