Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is a popular destination for Girl Scout, Cub Scout, and Boy Scout troops and packs from around the nation. Between Chickamauga Battlefield and Lookout Mountain Battlefield, the park has more than 75 miles of hiking trails for scouts to explore. Additionally, scouts may find the park's story and resources useful while working on merit badges and rank advancement.

If you are interested in a service or volunteer project for either your scout group, or individuals working on rank advancement, such as an Eagle Scout project, please visit our youth volunteer page. If you are planning a trip with your pack or troop and are interested in a ranger program for your scouts, please visit our field trip page, and request a program as if you are school group or educational institution.

For more information about scouting activities in the park, call the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center at 706-866-9241x123.

In addition, the National Park Service has a Scout Ranger program for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
