Cedar Breaks National Monument seek public comment on proposed fee changes

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking the public’s comment on changes to entrance and campground fee increases under consideration for Cedar Breaks National Monument. The proposed changes would take effect in May 2024.

The monument is proposing to move from Group 1 to Group 2 of the NPS Entrance Fee Pricing Structure.

Comments regarding these fee-increase proposals may be submitted electronically on the NPS Planning Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) website during the 30-day public comment period from October 2 to October 31, 2023.

Written comments may be sent to: Superintendent, Cedar Breaks National Monument, 2390 W. Highway 56, Suite 11, Cedar City, UT 84720. Comments must be postmarked by October 30, 2023.

The public comment period is part of the planning and compliance process and provides the park valuable information and feedback on preferences from the public. We look forward to reading your comments.
