News Release Date: May 23, 2013 The Utah Department of Transportation (DOT) will begin a project to resurface the roadway on Highway 24 starting Tuesday May 28, 2013 and continue through Thursday May 30, 2013. The work will occur from the Panorama Point- Goosenecks turnout (mile post 77) and extend approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) eastward, towards the Fruita Historic District and the park visitor center, and encompass both lanes, one at a time. The DOT will perform traffic control. Expect travel delays. This work will improve the tread of the roadway making conditions safer for travelers. Please use caution in work areas.
