If you've reserved a backcountry permit in the last few years, you've probably had a conversation with Bruce or Jim. Last week, we bid farewell to Jim as he embarked on a well-earned retirement...leaving one person to do the job of two. As we look for the right person to fill Jim's shoes, please be patient: our reservation phone line will not be answered in the timely manner you've come to expect. During this time, visitors are encouraged to submit requests for river permits or backcountry permits by fax, even if your itinerary is uncertain. If questions come up, you will receive a call back. |
