The Visitor Center offers a 17-minute film and a museum. Also on the grounds are the historic Perry "White" House, a reconstructed Barracks building, and more than 4 miles of trails that allow you to explore the historic grounds of Camp Nelson.

The Perry House is closed for extensive renovations. The grounds and trails are accessible seven days a week from dawn to dusk. To get a trail guide map of the park, or a passport stamp, be sure to visit the front porch of the visitor center.
