The third collaborative workshop for ORV Management Plan proposed Negotiated Rulemaking participants will be held Monday and Tuesday, October 22 – 23, 2007, at the Town of Nags Head Fire Hall in Nags Head, North Carolina. The two day workshop will be conducted on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is limited parking at the Fire Hall; parking is available at the Town of Nags Head Administrative Offices across the street.

"This is the final workshop before the official negotiating committee meetings begin," said Superintendent Mike Murray. "It is an important opportunity to complete our preparatory work, so we can move full speed ahead once the committee appointments are approved." The Notice of Establishment to formally appoint the negotiated rulemaking committee is currently moving through the final review process in Washington.

The meeting is open to the public. There is space for up to 15 persons to attend in addition to the proposed Negotiated Rulemaking participants. For more information, call 252-473-2111 ext. 148.
