Cape Hatteras National Seashore Staff to Be Available for Discussion About Amended Final Rule for Off-Road Vehicle Management

Cape Hatteras National Seashore (Seashore) Superintendent, David Hallac, and other members of the Seashore staff, will be available to answer questions related to the amended Final Rule for off-road vehicle (ORV) management at two public meetings.

The first public meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 24 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Cape Hatteras Secondary School (Room 303) in Buxton, North Carolina. The second meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 25 from 11:30-1:30 pm at the Ocracoke Community Center in Ocracoke, North Carolina.

The amended Final Rule for ORV management at the Seashore was published in the Federal Register on December 21, 2016 and becomes effective on January 20, 2017.
