As the National Park Service continues to celebrate its centennial, Cape Hatteras National Seashore is hosting two beach cleanups. The public is invited to participate July 28 and August 17 from 9-11 am.

• July 28, 2016 - Ocracoke Island, Lifeguarded beach parking lot

• August 17, 2016 - Hatteras Island, Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Site parking lot

Bring leather gloves, water, snacks, and sunscreen. Wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes and hats. Trash bags will be provided. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them.
