Through this summer, visitors to the beach route south of Ramp 38 can expect to experience some intermittent, short-term delays entering and exiting ramp as beach nourishment equipment is moved safely to and from the beach. The parking lot at Ramp 38 is closed until the Avon beach nourishment project concludes.
We are aware that this morning a longer delay occurred at Ramp 38 due to a contractor miscommunication. The issue has been addressed and we believe all future beach nourishment related delays at Ramp 38 will be much more limited in duration.
