On Saturday, March 20, Casa Grande Ruins National Monument will host Frank Pinkley Day in honor of the life and accomplishments of Frank Pinkley (1881-1940).  Come join us for this special tribute to a man who personified the National Park Service spirit and whose great legacy remains with us to this day.  Ranger Dave Winchester will give a slide presentation on the life of Frank “Boss” Pinkley at 3:00 P.M.   Throughout the day the monument will also screen Ken Burn’s film featurette, “The Boss,” produced along with his film series, “The National Parks – America’s Best Idea.”
