However, any activity which requires NPS personnel monitoring, maintenance, or which creates extraordinary administrative work, will be charged cost recovery for such services. Any damage to park resources including litter cleanup will be billed the full cost for restoration.
Submitting an application with the fee does not guarantee your activity or the date requested will be approved. Applications are accepted up to one year in advance. We will notify you when we have received your application, but approval or denial of your activity can range from days to weeks. Some activities are required to go through full environmental or historic compliance review. The fee for more complex events will vary. Any direct overtime expenses the Seashore incurs as a result of a special event may be passed along to the permittee. The posting of a fully refundable performance bond may be required based on the type of activity and the potential for resource damage. |
