Cape Cod's weather is generally moderated by its proximity to the ocean. Winter is typically cold with some snow. Spring is often rainy. Summer is usually warm and humid. Fall is generally dry and clear.
Beach Entrance Fee - $20.00
Fees are collected at six beaches from late spring through the end of September. Daily fees: vehicles, $20; motorcycles, $10; walk-in, $3. Annual national seashore pass is $60.
Annual Entrance Pass to Cape Cod National Seashore - $60.00
Pass entitles free entry into the six national seashore beaches for the season. The pass is assigned to a single vehicle, and may not be transferred to another vehicle.
Daily Entrance Fee for Cape Cod National Seashore - $20.00
Pass provides entrance into six beaches for one day. Multiple beaches managed by the national seashore can be visited in one day using the same pass. Passes may not be transferred to other vehicles.
The visitor center is open year-round with staff to help with trip planning; a well-stocked book and gift store; a museum focused on the Outer Cape's rich human stories; films; ranger programs; and views of the Nauset Marsh and Atlantic Ocean.
Located at the tip of Cape Cod, this visitor center is perched atop a high dune with stunning views of the outer beach, Atlantic, and Provincetown. It's open spring through fall. The center includes a book and gift store, exhibits, and regular showings of park films.
