Specifically created for students in grades K-2, the Nature’s Nurseries Traveling Trunk was designed to highlight the life cycles of four animals found at Cabrillo National Monument. Take a look! Starting in late February, volunteers and natural resources staff at Cabrillo National Monument have kept tabs on our remarkable aerialists through visual observation and telescopic photography. Renowned for their speed and hunting skill, Peregrines are the fastest animal in the world, capable of reaching speeds of 200 miles per hour or more when diving down on unsuspecting prey. |
