Unigrids provide brief information about the park sites or park trials. At the Visitor Center, visitors can find Park unigrids in different languages and in braille.

Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center

The Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center. The following features are available.

• Accessible Restroom
• Wheelchair Accessible
• Wheelchairs Available

A bench is also available near the entrance of the visitor center. Visitors may use a ramp or a set of stairs to access the store, information desk, and theater. Additional ramps lead to the exhibit space.

USS Constitution

The USS Constitution is a historic ship and has limited accessibility. The U.S. Navy operates the USS Constitution. Please visit the U.S. Navy's Hours and Visitor Information page for more information on the ship's accessibility.

When onboard, visitors should be mindful of steep stairs that lead to the lower decks. The lower decks have low ceilings, tight spaces, and little light.

USS Constitution Museum

The USS Constitution Museum strives to be accessible to all visitors. To learn more about the museum's accessibility features, please visit the Museum's Plan Your Visit page.

Visitors can enter the USS Constitution Museum via ramp or a set of four stairs.

USS Cassin Young

The USS Cassin Young is a historic ship and has limited accessibility.

Boarding the ship requires visitors to walk up a set of eight stairs that lead to the gangway. The angle of the gangway is dependant on the tide. From the gangway, visitors must step down onto the deck of the ship.

Once on board, visitors should be mindful that the deck slightly slants in some areas. There are also tight spaces that visitors can walk through. To enter rooms within the ship, visitors may have to step over ledges or duck their heads.

Charlestown Navy Yard

The Charlestown Navy Yard is accessible.

Most of the Navy Yard is flat with asphalt terrain. Certain areas are filled with loose rumble. There are also train tracks throughout the Yard, but they are mostly embedded within the asphalt.

Benches are located throughout the Navy Yard, mostly along 1st Avenue.
