An entrance pass is not required to access Boston African American National Historic Site. Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Walking tours led by the National Parks of Boston Park Rangers are free to the public. Our partner, the Museum of African American History, charges an entrance fee that supports the maintenance of the historic Abiel Smith School and African Meeting House. This fee is payable at the Museum Store located in the Abiel Smith School. The Museum is located at 46 Joy Street, on Beacon Hill.
