Virtual or Classroom Programs

There are a few different ways to connect your classroom to Aztec Ruins National Monument without being on site. Teachers can request a virtual program or a scheduled time for a ranger to visit their classroom.

Portrait of a Community Virtual Program

This is a 7th grade Ranger-led virtual program that brings students on a journey back in time to explore the advanced problem-solving skills of the Chacoan people while examining concepts of self-identity, trade, and celestial alignments through a symbol of the Chacoan Culture: elaborately woven sandals.

NPS Careers: High School Ranger-led Classroom Program

In this program, students learn about the National Park Service, work divisions within parks, and the wide variety of careers in the National Park Service. They also learn about internship opportunities with public lands agencies.
