Due to COVID-19, and to protect staff and visitors' health and safety,
Aztec Ruins National Monument has temporarily closed the Visitor Center, Museum and Western National Parks Association (WNPA) Store to the public effective immediately.
The site is open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Visitors will be able to utilize restrooms, the picnic area, and the short trail through the Aztec West great house. All trails are self-guided, with park brochures and information available on site.

As a reminder, Aztec Ruins National Monument is located near the Navajo Nation and some routes to travel here may direct you through it. The Navajo Nation has been under curfews nightly from 8pm-5am. The Navajo Nation has also had frequent weekend lockdowns which start on Friday at 8pm through Monday at 5am and can include road blockades and citations by the Navajo Nation Law Enforcement.
