MOAB, UT - The National Park Service (NPS) has extended the public comment period for the plan to help alleviate traffic and parking congestion in Arches National Park. The new deadline for comments is December 18, 2017.
Arches National Park developed a Traffic Congestion Management Plan (TCMP) to address vehicle traffic and parking congestion problems that affect visitor access, visitor enjoyment, and resource conditions.
Park staff invites the public to review and comment on this plan. The plan and environmental assessment will be available for public review and comment through December 18, 2017, on the NPS Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) website at:
Hard copies of the plan and environmental assessment will be available for review at the Southeast Utah Group Administrative Office on Resource Blvd., Arches Visitor Center, and Grand County Public Library.
Comments unable to be made on the PEPC website can be sent to:

Mailed comments must be postmarked by December 18, 2017.

Public Comment Considerations

Results of public comments will influence how the TCMP is implemented.
