Jr. Ranger Badge and Program

NPS image

Appomattox Court House National Historical Park's Junior Ranger Program makes your family's visit to the park a special adventure where children learn to care for our National Parks while having fun with puzzles, games and trivia challenges.

Designed for children ages 6 to 13, the program typically takes one to two hours to complete. Just pick up a Junior Ranger workbook upon your arrival at our visitor center. As you tour the park and museum, complete the questions in the book to receive a certificate and a Junior Ranger Badge. You can also view or print the on-site Junior Ranger Booklet before visiting the park.

For the individuals who are not able to come to the park, an Appomattox Junior Ranger badge can be earned by viewing our web page. To get started click here.
