Become a Junior Ranger

Appomattox Court House National Historical Park's Junior Ranger Program makes your family's visit to the park a special adventure where children learn about the park having fun with puzzles, games and trivia challenges.

Designed for children ages 6 to 13, the program typically takes one to two hours to complete. Pick up a Junior Ranger workbook upon your arrival at the visitor center. As you tour the park and museum, complete the questions in the book to receive a certificate and a Junior Ranger Badge. You can also view or print the on-site Junior Ranger Booklet before visiting the park.

For the individuals who are not able to come to the park, a Junior Ranger badge can be earned by viewing our web page. To get started click here.
