When planning a field trip to Andersonville:
- Ranger-led field trips are offered Monday through Friday.
- Programs are free of charge.
- A two-week advance notice is required to schedule a program.
- Ranger-led programs are subject to:
- Staff availability
- Optimal weather conditions
- A completed reservation form submitted at least two weeks before the desired program date
- Programs are available for groups of up to 55 students per time slot.
- Tours of the the Historic Prison Site and the National Cemetery require separate reservations and time slots.

- Museum Scavenger Hunt (9th-12th grade students)

The park offers three ranger-led programs for school groups that meet Georgia state standards. Your grade level may determine which program is presented. - Self-guiding Field Trips; Grades K - 12
Self-guided groups must contact the park before arriving by submitting a Field Trip Registration Form. This will allow park staff to schedule your visit and notify you of any issues or conflicts prior to your visit.
