Learn about June 15, 1944 and the Battle of Saipan with American Memorial Park

On June 15th, 1944 American troops arrived on Saipan's shores.That morning US soldiers landed on western beaches to gain control of the island from the Japanese as part of the Battle of Saipan. If you would like to learn more, Park Ranger Podziewski will talk about that day in history from the same place where American soldiers came ashore seventy two years ago.American Memorial Park invites you to join the Park at the outdoor learning center on Beach Road near the Japanese Tank adjacent from Quarter Master Road.The short presentation will begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday June 15, 2016.
