This year Acadia National Park annual passes will be available during Bar Harbor’s Early Bird Sale and Pajama Party. On November 18 from 6 to 9 a.m., the Acadia information site located on the Village Green next to the Bar Harbor police/fire station will be open to sell passes. Acadia annual passes, valid for one year from month of purchase, will be available for $20, half off the regular price. Help support a good cause. Eighty percent of each pass sale remains right here in Acadia National Park to be used for projects that directly benefit park visitors and resources. The remaining 20% benefits other National Park Service sites. The regular annual sale will begin December 1 and run through December 30. Acadia National Park annual passes will again be available for half price, or just $20. They will be sold at the Winter Visitor Center at park headquarters on the Eagle Lake Road (Route 233) between 8 a.m.and 4:30 p.m. every day except December 24 and 25. They may be obtained in person with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. No phone orders will be taken. New for this year: Acadia annual passes will be available for the sale price of $20 at the Gouldsboro Town Office, too. The sale will run from December 1 through December 30, as on Mount Desert Island. The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office is closed on weekends and on December 25.
