Although park planners and resource managers often have a great deal of specialized knowledge, it would be impossible for them to know all the issues important to millions of park lovers— this information needs to come from you. Park planning and decision-making are greatly improved because of the members of the public who choose to participate. We need to hear from you...one comment can make a difference! At various points in the planning process, opportunities for public comment arise. Members of the local community can also connect with representatives on the Acadia Advisory Commission.

The National Park Services uses the Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) system to provide for public involvement in the NPS planning process. You can always contact us with any questions or comments as well.
