HODGENVILLE Ky - Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is hosting three Kids’ Discovery Days this summer at the Birthplace Unit. These family centered events will feature fun interactive hands-on activities to explore history, art, and the outdoors. The activities are designed for young people ages 5 – 12.
Youth must be accompanied their families and are invited to stop by anytime during the Discovery Days to take part in the fun. By attending each Discovery Day, children will be able to take part in themed activities and earn special Jr. Ranger pins, patches, or other items that will only be available on these days.
Discover Water - Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Discover Writing – Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Discover Sound – Saturday August 12, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The park is excited to provide these fun and educational activities to all participants free of any charge. No reservations are needed.
