DeafNation World Expo!

July 24, 2012 Posted by: Jessica Cole

Yosemite Deaf Services will have a booth at the DeafNation World Expo in Las Vegas next week. Come by to say hi, ask questions, or just gaze at the gorgeous posters and photographs I'll have on display. Come tell me what you'd like to see Deaf Services do in the future, and if you've been to Yosemite and used Deaf Services in the past, come tell me how it went.

Yosemite Interpreters were first class when we had visitors from Texas and we arranged to meet the interpreter and we were quickly scheduled on two tours. One is riding the ponies thru the park and interpreter rode with us ! We had another tour with the open end bus and we were able to acknowledge the driver 's notes thru interpreter and was told last summer had the first time in many years that had all 7 water falls being alive and soon to dry out which enhanced us to take many photos. We appreciate the services they provide at Yosemite! Thanks so much! Ralph
