Join us at William Howard Taft National Historic Site to celebrate our Halloween Open House event. The house where William Howard Taft was born and grew up will be decorated to reflect the mid-Victorian period during our annual Halloween Celebration.

On Saturday, October 28th, 2015 at 6:00 pm, join us and some "Victorian visitors" for a look into the origins of the "Hallows Eve" celebration, and the 19th century traditions and customs surrounding this unearthly holiday. Visitors will enjoy arts and opportunities to make Victorian Halloween keepsakes. Refreshments will be available at the Taft Education Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Visit the Directions page for maps and directions to William Howard Taft National Historic Site.  The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m,  Tours of the house are available throughout the day. The park is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
