Junior Ranger Academy at War in the Pacific National Historical Park!

This spring, War in the Pacific National Historical Park along with partner Pacific Historic Parks is proud to host the annual Junior Ranger Academy. The Junior Ranger Academy provides youth a great opportunity to learn about Guam’s national park, have fun, and share their park experiences with families, friends, and schoolmates.

Junior Rangers will spend the week exploring World War II sites around Guam. They will see real WWII artifacts, hear about the historic battles on Guam, spend time outdoors, and participate in restoring a WWII site.

The Junior Ranger Academy is free and will run from March 26 to March 30, 2018. Registered participants who complete all five days of the program will become Junior Rangers and receive an official Junior Ranger badge and certificate.

Youth in 6th, 7th and 8th grades are eligible to join but must register to participate. Registration packets are available at the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center in Sumay. Last day to submit a completed registration form, and a $20 refundable deposit, is Monday, March 19, 2018. Space is limited, so register soon.
