Winter 2025-2026 Rainy Lake Visitor Center Hours and Operations

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. — Voyageurs National Park is pleased to announce the winter schedule for the Rainy Lake Visitor Center and winter equipment rentals.

Rainy Lake Visitor Center Winter Operating Hours:

• Open: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
• Dates: November 14, 2025 - March 30, 2026
• Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter Equipment Rentals:

• Beginning Jan. 1, cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals can be made online through the Voyageurs National Park Winter Equipment Rentals webpage.
• Rates: $10 per pair for adults and $5 per pair for youth (16 and under).
• Rental equipment pickup is only available during visitor center operating hours.

Regardless of visitor center hours, Voyageurs National Park remains open and free to access year-round. Park staff invite visitors to explore the breathtaking beauty of Voyageurs National Park in winter. Venture outdoors to experience the snowy splendor of the northern landscape.
