Beginning November 1, 2017, the visitor center at Vicksburg National Military Park will be open from 8:30am- 4:30pm daily. These winter hours will be in effect until April 1, 2018 when the building will be open from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Operating hours for the tour road and USS Cairo Museum will remain unchanged. The Tour Road is open to vehicles from 8:00am- 5:00pm (last entry at 4:40pm), and the USS Cairo Museum is open 8:30am-5:00pm daily.  Self-guided tour information is always available at the fee booth, regardless of visitor center hours.
