Pearl Harbor, Hawaii – Free and open to the public, the National Park Service, PBS Hawaii and the Arizona Memorial Museum Association will present a VIP premiere of the Ken Burns documentary, The War. The screening takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. It will feature highlights of the upcoming full length 7-part series that airs on PBS beginning September 23, at 8:00 p.m.
The evening will conclude with a thought provoking discussion led by Memorial Historian, Daniel Martinez. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to 808-973-1187. Due to security concerns, bags are not allowed. Free parking on site. |
