Camping

At this time, Valles Caldera does not have any established campgrounds or backcountry camping permits available. Please check back for updates on overnight use and developments.

There are camping opportunities on the neighboring Bandelier National Monument and Santa Fe National Forest, several of which are less than 15 minutes from Valles Caldera's main entrance.
