The National Park Service (NPS) at Valley Forge National Historical Park announces the release of two separate Requests for Proposals for commercial leasing opportunities of historic buildings.

The first opportunity is to lease the historic Philander Chase Knox house and grounds located on Yellow Springs Road near the intersection of State Route 252 for use as a private event venue for a five-year term.

The second opportunity is to lease the historic Kennedy Supplee mansion located on State Route 23 for a commercial use approved by the NPS for a term of ten to fifty years. The length of the lease term for the Kennedy Supplee mansion will be dependent upon the level of investment proposed by the offeror.

Parties interested in either opportunity should carefully review the Request for Proposals (RFP) for more information and deadlines. That information can be found on the park's website at https://www.nps.gov/vafo/parkmgmt/businesswithpark.htm.

Each RFP provides the opportunity for an interested individual or organization to submit a proposal to the National Park Service to lease one of these two properties. Whoever submits the proposal for each property, judged best under the RFP selection criteria, will be given an opportunity to negotiate a final lease agreeable to both the offeror and the National Park Service.
